ASSESSMENT APPEALS
If you are dissatisfied with a result for an assessment, you may request that a second remarking of the assessment is performed.
A fee applies for remarking the assessment. Remarking of their assessment will occur by a different Nurse Educator and from scratch without reference to the original feedback. We will then compare the two feedback forms and the Academic Director will make a decision on the final result.
We will refund students the remarking charge if they then pass on the remark. If their result is not changed due to the remarking, then the fee is not refundable, and their original result will stand.
You must lodge your assessment appeal within 7 days of receiving feedback, and pay the associated fee, for the assessment appeal to go ahead.
Whilst you can appeal any attempt feedback, we recommend you only appeal after you have exhausted all attempts. If you have attempts remaining, we encourage you to call us to discuss the feedback with the Educator who marked it to gain better clarification of what is required.
