READY, SET, GO!

Now that you have been set up as a student and have received your welcome email, it’s time to get started right? Almost!

We know you are excited to get going, but there’s a few things we need to have sorted first.

Use the list below to ensure you are ready to start studying.

Get Connected

First things first, make sure you can log in to both your student email and the Learning Centre. If you run into any trouble, check out the “Troubleshooting” tips in the “Log in Details” section. Still stuck? Give our friendly Student Assist team a call – they’re here to help!

Complete Your Student Induction: Your Key to Unlocking Your Learning!

Induction helps you become familiar with how to study with us and how to navigate your learning centre. There are some mandatory short presentations to watch and some important activities for you to practice your uploading skills – essential for when you’re ready to hand in your first assessment.

This online module is waiting for you in the Learning Centre when you first log in and must be completed before we issue you with your printed Learner’s Guides.

We check for completed inductions every morning (Monday to Friday). No induction = no online access and no Learner’s Guide delivery just yet!

Time to Gear Up

Order Your Textbooks: If you haven’t already, now’s the time to order any textbooks you’ll need for your course. Your Course Handbook and the Student Induction area have all the info on what to order.

Your Learner’s Guides are on Their Way!

Once we see that your induction is complete, we’ll send your Learner’s Guides to the address you used on your enrolment form. If you need them sent somewhere else, let us know right away!

If it’s been more than one business day since your printed Learner’s Guides arrived and you still can’t get into your online subjects in the Learning Centre, please contact Student Assist and we’ll take a look.

SHORT COURSE STUDENTS

Keep an eye out! You should have received an email with your login details. If it hasn’t landed in your inbox yet, please take a peek in your junk and spam folders – sometimes those emails like to hide!

Having trouble logging in? Check out the “Troubleshooting” section under “Log in Details” for some quick tips. If you’re still locked out, don’t hesitate to give our friendly Student Assist team a call.

Once you’re in the Learning Centre, you’ll see your short course area. However, you won’t be able to dive in just yet – your printed Learner’s Guide is still on its way!

All our short course students receive a printed copy of their Learner’s Guide, and we’ll send it straight to the address you gave us when you enrolled. You’ll need this guide to get started, but it should only take a day or two to arrive. Hang tight!
