student handbook

READY, SET, GO!

Now that you have been set up as a student and have received your welcome email, it’s time to get started right? Almost!

We know you are excited to get going, but there’s a few things we need to have sorted first.

Use the list below to ensure you are ready to start studying.

QUALIFICATION STUDENTS

If you have any issues accessing your student email or the Learning Centre, look at “Troubleshooting” under the “Log in Details” section.

If you still can’t access them, give us a call at Student Assist.

You can find this in the Induction area in the Learning Centre. Upload this into the induction area. This this the same way you’ll be uploading your assessments, so it’s important that you master this early.

This is located in the Learning Centre. Until this is completed, we cannot grant you access to the online subject areas or send you your Learner’s Guides. This includes the approval of workplaces and mentors for those courses with specific requirements. See your induction area for more details.

We check for students who have completed induction every morning on Monday to Friday. You will not be given access to online areas, nor will your folder be couriered, unless you have completed the Student Induction area.

If it has been more than one business day since you received your printed Learner’s Guides and you do not have online access, please contact Student Assist so we can arrange immediate access to your subjects.

If you haven’t yet, make sure you order the textbooks necessary for your course. Refer to your Course Handbook and Student Induction for more information.

Once we receive notification that you have completed induction, we’ll courier out your learner’s guides to the address you applied with. If you need your folder to go elsewhere, make sure you tell us ASAP.

SHORT COURSE STUDENTS

You should have received an email with your login details. Check your junk and spam folders if you haven’t.

If you have any issues accessing the Learning Centre, look at “Troubleshooting” under the “Log in Details” section.

If you still can’t access them, give us a call at Student Assist.

Once you’re logged in you’ll see your short course area, however you cant start until your learner’s guide arrives.

All our short course students receive a printed copy of the learner’s guide. We will courier this to the address that you provided when you enrolled.

You cannot start your short course until this arrives, it’ll only be a day or two.
