WITHDRAWING

We understand that sometimes priorities or dreams can change. Students are able to withdraw from any of our courses at any time, for any reason. We won’t be offended.

If you are struggling with your course work or finding the time to study, we encourage you to contact us prior to withdrawal. Our team will discuss alternative options or help you to access our Student Wellbeing counselling service. Withdrawal should only be considered as a last measure if your goals are to still complete your qualification.

We do recognise that sometimes, withdrawal from study is the right option for some students. If your circumstances change and you no longer wish to or are able to complete your studies, or you’ve had a change of heart about your career – we will fully support your choice to leave the course.

Regardless of the reason you are withdrawing, we must receive a completed Request for Course Withdrawal form. This form is accessible to current students only through logging into the Student Assist Gateway website.

Once we receive your Request for Course Withdrawal, we will process it within 5 days. This means you will no longer have access to your course materials or any of our student support services and no further work will be marked.

You will receive a statement of attainment for any units of competency you have successfully completed as long as your payments are up to date and cover your progress to date in the course. It may take up to 30 days for this to be issued to you.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON COURSE TUITION PAYMENTS

Withdrawing from the course does not cancel any past, now due or future payments for your course, even if you have subjects that you have not commenced. There are no refunds if you decide to withdraw from study, just like there are no refunds if you change your mind with any large purchase at most stores.

If you are paying by instalments, these will not stop and you must finish paying for the course. Failure to do so may incur additional costs and you may be referred to a debt collector.

You can read our policy on course tuition payments here.
